We have a Ninja wood fire that when the weather cooperates is great for outdoor cooking. Having a flat plate though opens up the possibilities of what else you can cook on it. Having this plate means that you can cook breakfast on it, but having the rack is great for putting your bacon on to make it more crispy. The set is expensive but perfect to add to your accessories for your wood fire grill. We’ve yet to test this but I’m sure it will work fine.

However, in more general terms, this really does feel like a heavy pan meant to last a long time, and I'm happy with the quality. Would have loved to have seen a small silicon bung included for the drainage hole, so that it could be used for other things in a standard oven as well, since it's a hefty beast to have just one use.

I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a clip-on handle to get it in and out of the grill, as it really needs one. For the price I'd just naturally expected it to have on included. I'm also somewhat confused as to why the rack is so much smaller than the pan itself?

This is a very weighty and solid grill pan, with a good thick base which would withstand a lot of heat and dissipate it well. It does feel like a quality piece that's going to sit well with Ninja brand items.
