Please help. I love the looks of this item. Easy to set up however it turns the inside glass black I’m not sure why. Any suggestions?

Clean，Safe, Portable and Beautiful…

I bought this JAY'S HOME Tabletop Fireplace as a gift for my friend and customized it by painting their names on the base. They absolutely loved it! This tabletop fireplace produces mesmerizing real flames without any odor or smoke (as alcohol burning is known to be non-polluting). It is easy to set up as shown in the instructional video on their link —simply pour alcohol into the cup, light it with a lighter, place the glass cover on, and you have a portable (yet stylish) warm fire pit that enhances the ambiance with its relaxing and captivating flames. The glass shield adds safety and ensures stability of the flame even in windy conditions. When you want some S'mores and beer with friends, just remove the glass shield—it's versatile. One cup of alcohol can burn for approximately 50 minutes, and refilling is easy (ensure the fire is completely extinguished before refilling).

Terrible. Smokes like crazy.

I was so excited to get this fired up. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, or what liquid I use, the smoke is ridiculous. It also blackens the glass.
