Good quality

I work at home remotely, so needed something to keep me warm during winter while working. This jacket is very light and comfortable. Instead of using a battery, I connect the USB to my laptop. It keeps me warm in the back. Better than wearing a bulky jacket.

Worth the Money

This vest does not come with batteries. I had to purchase those separately. I work in a food producing plant so the temperature stays constantly in the 30's. This vest has three settings which I like to call rare, medium and well done. You can imagine the battery goes quickly on the highest setting, maybe two to three hours, but lasts about six hours on the medium setting and all day on the 'rare' setting. They take a bit of time to recharge. The jacket is light weight, comfortable, adjustable and well worth the money. The only thing is that the batteries can be kind of clunky in the inner breast pocket and with the spare in the side pocket.

Sizing is so adjustable

I work 10 hours 6 days a week in construction and sometimes in subfreezing temps. This jacket is a little bulky and seems mostly designed as outerwear but once the side zippers are made a little tighter it allows it fit under my work shirt which helps trap the heat more. Best aspect is the adjustable sizes. easy to allow more room for extra layers or zip it closer to focus the heat where it is needed. Hood is effective and neck warming area helps greatly reduce heat loss.

Edit2: I finally got to test the replacement vest in winter (Alaska). I'm not noticing any overheating or quick drop in my replacement. This vest is awesome! 5☆

Edit: The vendor reached out to me personally for a refund. I'm using it to buy the vest again in the hopes the upper heating element was a one-time/vest issue. Also, if you live in a cold & humid place like I do, remove the hood and wear your puffy or soft shell over it. My soft shell was especially great for containing the heat at a lower setting + ensured no/minimal moisture gets to the vest. Now to just figure out how to get my soft shell pockets to slide into the vest pockets for warming my hands! I've never had to use hand warming packs- the vest heating elements are in a perfect spot for it.
